This laptop was NEVER $749. Even on their own website it says so. However I purchased one of these for my parents and it is a pretty good machine overall. It does not have a touch screen, but otherwise it is a pretty decent running machine. I did not do crystaldisk or ramtest to see if its running single channel mem mode and what kind of SSD it is, I assume is probabably NVME 2 channel to save money (but will still be about 1.7gb/sec) and dual channel ram, its very odd to see 16GB in a single channel setup.
